넷플릭스에서 만든 한국 드라마 킹덤을 소개합니다.
 
왜란과 호란을 겪고난 어느 시점.
 
자신의 왕권 쟁탈을 위하여 죽은 왕을 생사초로 되살려 좀비로 만들어 이용하려는 영의정 조학주의 음모에 조정의 권세는 조씨 일가로 기울게 됩니다.
 
아비(왕)의 근황도 알 수 없던 세자는 왕의 치료과정과 생사 확인을 위하여 증거를 찾아 나서지만 역모로 몰리게 됩니다.
 
그런 가운데 좀비가 된 왕으로 부터 죽임을 당한 단이의 인육을 먹은 사람들이 좀비가 되고 전염병 처럼 걷잡을 수 없게 병이 퍼져나가며 주인공들의 좀비와의 사투가 시작 됩니다.
 
단지 공포를 넘어 왕권을 둘러싼 음모와 위기시에 나타나는 각종의 인간성들을 여실히 보여주며 재미를 더해주고 있습니다.
 
넷플릭스에서 만든 한국드라마로 미드 못지 않는 구성과 내용 특수효과 등 어디하나 나무랄곳이 없다고 해도 과언이 아닙니다. 다만 너무 잔인한 장면들이 많아 청소년관람불가이니 가정에서 볼때는 주의를 요합니다.
 
한가지 문제가 해결될 때쯤 새로운 문제에 봉착하며 게속해서 이야기가 전개되어 나가는데요.
 
시즌1이 방영되기 전부터 이미 시즌2의 제작이 확정되었다는 소식도 전해집니다.
 
워킹데드나 그 유사한 좀비물, 공포영화/드라마를 좋아하시는 분들에게는 반가운 소식이 될 것이고 공포물을 좋아하지 않는 분들이라도 한 번쯤 기존 한국의 방송으로만 만들어지던 드라마와 달리 색다른 영역과 완성도를 확인해 볼 기회도 될 것 입니다.
 
배우 유승룡의 무게감 있는 연기와 나날이 인기가 상승하고 있는 주지훈 배우, 영화 드라마 장르를 넘나들며 좋은 연기를 보여주는 배우 배두나 그리고 오랜만에 무거운 역할로 인사를 드리는 허준호 배우까지 지금까지 국내 방송사 드라마에서는 생각하지 못한 많은 것을 보여주는 드라마 입니다.
 
한번 보면 정주행 예정된 킹덤.
