STAR ART MUSEUM 전시회 다섯 번째 화가를 소개합니다.

이번 전시회가 다른 전시회와 달랐던 점은 이미 다른 분야에서 이름이 알려진 분들을 만날 수 있었다는 것인데요.

이번에 소개해 드릴 분은 화가 반세정입니다.

몇몇 관객과 함께 자신의 그림에 대해서 열심히 설명을 하고 있는 어여쁜 화가 한 분이 계셨습니다.

전날 뵙지 못해서 간단히 몇 마디 나누던 중 자신의 작업과 작품에 대한 이야기를 해주셨는데요. 그 과정에서 다른 관객들도 함께 설명을 들으며 작품에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었습니다.

반세정 화가가 이번에 내놓은 작품들의 공통점은 “나” 자신을 그 소재로 삼았다고 볼 수 있었습니다.

첫 번째 작품인 “paradise” 는 잔잔하게 끝없이 펼쳐진 바다와 백사장 그 사이에 잠시 노출 되었다 서서히 사라지듯 보이는 파도의 모습을 통해…

자신이 가보고 싶은 곳,
그 곳은 자신이 가장 편안하게 느낄 수 있는 곳,
그런 곳이 있다면 그 곳이 바로 파라다이스가 될 것이라고 작가는 말하고 있었습니다.

깜찍한 외모와 달리 성숙한 내면을 표현하고자 했던 것 같은데요.

그림의 기법 또한 거침없이 대각선으로 한 번에 이어 나가는 본인만의 개성을 연출하고 있었으며, 그러한 모습이 생동감 있고 결단력 있는 화가 자신의 모습을 대변해 주는 것처럼 보였습니다.

멀리서 부터 시야에 확 들어오는 한 필의 말은 꼭 누군가 닮은듯 하다는 인상을 풍기게 됩니다. 바로 작가가 좋아하는 말을 통하여 본인의 모습을 투영한 “자화상” 입니다.

초롱한 눈망울과 바람에 흩날리는 것 같은 말갈퀴는 본인의 현재 모습을 그대로 나타낸 듯 닮은 모습입니다.

이렇듯 작품들 속에 자신의 외모부터 심리상태까지 녹이며 자아를 형상화 시키려 하는 시도가 돋보였습니다.

계속해서 작품 연구를 하여 결국 추상화로 넘어가겠지만, 자신에 대한 이야기를 더 많이 하고 사람들과 소통하겠다고 작가는 전합니다.

그 동안 연기자로서 수 많은 작품활동을 통하여 얻게 된 감수성을 바탕으로 더 많은 작품에서 자신의 이야기를 할 수 있을거라 여겨집니다.

전시회 중간 중간 얼굴을 알아보는 팬들에 대한 서비스와 미술활동을 같이 하는 배우 오초희씨와의 친분을 보여주기도 하였습니다.
