지난 2018.03.22~25까지 코엑스에서 “2018 서울국제소싱페어”가 열렸습니다.

사무용품, 문구류 및 선물, 리빙, 라이프스타일 용품 등 다양한 품목을 선보이는 기업들의 제품이 있었는데요.

많은 사람들의 호기심을 자극하며 현장 구매도 유도하기도 하며 기업들은 판로를 개척하기 위한 B2B 에 전념하고 있었습니다.

이 중에서도 필자의 호기심을 자극하거나 관심이 다른 곳 보다 더 가지게 되는 상품들이 있어 몇가지 소개를 하고자 합니다.

파우치류를 전문으로 생산하는 업체 입니다.
‘오늘은 왠지 좋은 일이 생길 것 같은 날” 이라는 카피에서 알 수 있듯이 사용하는 사람의 기분을 먼저 생각하는 느낌의 브랜드였습니다.

다양한 종류의 파우치를 선보이며 관람객들의 관심을 끌고 있었습니다.
심플하면서 정말 필요한 것만 담고 다니며 편안함을 추구 할 수 있는 듯 보였는데요.

필자도 현장에서 제품을 보고 제품의 꼼꼼한 마감과 세련미에 직접 현장구입을 하게 되었습니다. 사용기에 자세하게 살펴 보겠습니다. 이런 전시회에서는 현장 구입시 할인의 혜택도 많이 받을 수 있습니다.

 

# Wicue smart memo

요즘은 전자제품도 환경을 생각해서 친환경적이거나 환경을 보존하기 위한 제품들을 많이 선보이는데요.

Wicue 전자칠판의 경우도 마찬가지였습니다. 분필이나 유성펜을 사용하는 넓은 강의실을 전자칠판으로 대체하여 사용자의 건강과 몸에 좋지 않은 물질의 사용을 최소화 한 그런 제품이였으며,
작은 사이즈의 전자메모판은 사용자의 눈의 피로를 최소화 하고 종이를 대체하여 반복적으로 쓰고 지우는 것이 가능 하도록 하였습니다. 종이의 낭비를 줄일 수 있는 방법 중 하나라고 보여지는 데요.

태블릿을 사용하는 필자의 입장에서 조금 아쉬운 점이라면, 다른 기기와 싱크가 된다거나 저장 기능이 없다보니 업무에 활용하기에는 부족한 점이 많아 보였습니다.

기존에 나와 있는 “부기보드”와 별반 다를 것 없어 보였으나, 관계자의 말을 빌면, 기존 부기보드 보다 필기감이 더 부드러우며 시인성 또한 더 좋다고 합니다.

필자와 동행한 지인의 아드님께 딱 어울릴 듯하여 선물하였으며, 아이들의 놀이판으로 제격이었음을 확인하게 되었습니다.

곧 저장이 가능하며 조금 더 세밀한 메모가 가능하도록 선의 굵기도 줄이는 제품이 선보일 예정이라고 합니다.

 

 

# ESPOPOOM

원목가구를 이용한 신선한 아이템을 선보이는 기업이 있었습니다.

1인 가구나 모던하고 심플하게 집안을 꾸미고자 하는 분에게 적당하게 느껴지는데요.

멀리서 보며 어린이 가구를 연상하게 되었지만, 실제를 보니 적용한 디자인과 색상이 아기자기한 맛이 있었습니다.

해당 제품도 좋아 보였지만 최근 비슷한 종류의 가구들도 인터넷에서 많이 보았으며, 차별화 된 점들이 있다면 어떤 것이 있는가 라는 질문에 관계자는 제품의 완성도 벽걸이 등 설치의 용이성 그리고 다른 제품들과의 차별을 위하여 약간의 변형된 디테일 (글자나 문양의 삽입)을 추가 하고 있다고 설명하였습니다.

사랑을 서약합니다.

자연 그대로의 모습을 재료로 하는 제품이라면 끌리지 않을까요?
나무 그대로를 이용하여 시계를 만드는 곳이 있습니다.

질감도 좋을 뿐만 아니라 가볍고 뭔가 자연과 함께 하는 듯한 느낌을 받습니다.
그리고 나만을 위해 또는 연인들간 떨어 질 수 없는 그들만을 위해 깎아 만든 나무로 된 커플시계를 가지게 된다면 특별한 구속감이 생길 듯 합니다.

 

 

직접 만저보고 착용해 보면 그 느낌이 더 와닿게 되는데요.

쿼츠(전자시계)를 기본으로 무브먼트가 있는 시계까지 그리고 여러 종류의 나무를 소재로 전체적인 완제품을 만들어 판매하고 있습니다.

부품 하나 하나 만드는 사람의 손길이 필요하기에 더 의미가 있어 보입니다.

나무의 종류에 따른 의미부여나 이름이 있다면 더 좋지 않을까 하는 개인적인 생각도 들게 만드는군요. 꽃마다 꽃말이 있는 것 처럼….

 

# 영스카이㈜ _ 아이스크림 콘 선풍기

기존의 휴대용 선풍기와 다를바 없으나, 보다 더 길어진, 한 번 충전에 최대 8시간의 사용을 자랑하는 휴대용 선풍기 입니다. 바람의 세기에 따라 사용시간을 달라질 수 밖에 없겠지만 4월 출시예정이라는데요.

길어진 사용시간 만큼이나 아이스크림을 닮은 모양이 좀 더 시원한 느낌을 전달해 주는 듯 합니다.

BR과 같은 아이스크림 회사의 로고가 들어가거나 한다면 효과가 더 극대화 될 수 있지 않을까 합니다.

출시되면 이번 여름을 대비해서 하나쯤 구입을 해 볼 생각입니다.

국내 최초 디자인 소화기 입니다.

소화기라고 하면 모두들 빨간색의 위협적으로 보이는 소화기 만을 생각하기 쉬운데요.
그런 소화기에 디자인을 더하여 보다 더 친근해 보이게 만든 소화기 입니다.

최근 국내에서 화재에 따른 안타까운 소식이 많이 전해진 터라 눈이 한 번 더 가게 되었는데요.
가정 뿐만 아니라 차량에 두고 있어도 될 만큼 소형화 된 크기였습니다.

성인용품이라 하면 부끄럽거나 숨시고 있어야 하는 것 처럼 생각도 듭니다.
하지만 요즘은 이런 성인 용품들도 하나의 소품화 또는 액세서리화 되어 가는듯 합니다. 강남에서는 3층짜리 건물 하나가 카페처럼 오프라인 매장을 차지 하는 곳도 있는데요.

이번 행사에서는 TENGA라는 일본 상품들을 진열해 놓은 부스를 만나 볼 수 있었습니다.

호기심 어린 눈으로 관찰하는 어른들이 많이 둘러보고 가는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다.

제품의 질감이나 완성도는 야하다는 생각보다는 잘 만들어진 피규어 같은 느낌이였습니다.
여러가지 기능들을 가진 다양한 종류의 기기들은 한국에서도 앞으로 변화하게 될 성문화나 환경을 생각토록 만들었습니다.

2002년부터 한국의 커피시장 성장과 함께 해 온 유통회사가 있습니다.

KALITA, HARIO, BONAVITA 기타 수많은 브랜드의 상품들을 취급하고 있었는데요. 이번에 페어에 처음 참가하면서 선보인 해동트레이나 버터나이프가 많은 사람들의 관심을 받고 있었습니다.

버터나이프는 순동으로 만들어 사람의 체온을 이용하여 버터를 더 부드럽고 쉽게 녹이며 자를 수 있는 용도라고 보시면 되는데요. 그 무게감 또한 묵직하며 디자인과 질감은 고급스러웠습니다.

필자가 관계자의 설명을 들으며 준비된 얼음을 반으로 가르는 동안 들었던 생각은 빵을 먹기 위한 최종 목적을 위해 이런 고급스럽고 부드러운 느낌과 시각적인 느낌을 통하여 과정 속에서 더 큰 즐거움을 가질 수 있었다는 것 입니다.

일분일초를 다투며 서로 경쟁하는 시대에 드립 커피를 즐길 수 있는 마음의 여유가 있다면 고소한 버터 한 조작 잘라내는 손 맛도 느끼며 나만의 시간, 나를 위로하는 시간을 가지는 멋쟁이가 되어 볼 수 있을 듯 합니다.

 

 

지금까지 2018 서울국제소싱페어에 참여한 기업들의 제품 중 필자의 관심을 끌었던 몇몇 기업과 제품에 대한 소개를 해 드렸습니다.

많은 업체들이 이러한 페어를 통하여 나름대로 거래처 확보와 홍보를 위해 애쓰고 있었는데요. 그 속에서도 동종유사의 제품이나 서비스류 중 이렇게 눈에 띄는 제품들도 만날 수 있었습니다.

반나절에 걸친 움직임 속에 위의 제품들이 더 눈에 띄었다는 것은 필자 뿐만이 아니라 일반적인 사람들의 기준에서도 볼 만한 가치가 있는 상품들이 아니였을까 생각합니다.

비록 소개해 드리지 못한 기업과 상품들 중에서 다른 소비자들의 관심을 끌고 있는 상품들은 분명 있을 것 입니다. 그런 부분에 있어서는 그것을 더 좋아하고 만족하는 필자와 같은 누군가가 이야기 해 드릴 것이라 여깁니다.

자신의 능력을 다하여 제품 하나하나에 정성을 쏟고 있는 우리 기업들이 많은 어려움 있겠지만 잘 견뎌내며 내실이 튼튼하고 소비자로부터 좋은 반응을 얻어 지속적인 발전이 있기를 기원하며 2018 서울국제소싱페어 행사 참여기를 마칩니다.
