이미 행사란 소개에서 안내해 드린 2018 서울국제소싱페어에서 본 많은 제품들 중 필자의 필요에 의해 구입하고 사용해 본 파우치가 하나 있습니다.

Wenziday 의 Laptop.02 파우치 입니다.

​​

 

이름에서 알 수 있듯이 노트북컴퓨터와 마우스 등 주변기기를 넣어 다닐 수 있는 크기로 약 13인치의 노트북까지 파우치에 담을 수 있습니다.

그러나 필자의 경우 보통 약 10인치의 태블릿PC와 메모지 및 필기도구 그리고 약간의 프린트를 들고 다니며 지금까지 대부분 백팩을 사용하였습니다.

잘 알려진 바와 같이, 남성들의 서류가방에는 서류가 없다고 알려져 있습니다. 특별한 경우가 아니라면 서류가방이나 백팩은 여성의 핸드백과 같이 자신의 생활에서 이동하며 필요한 물건들을 담아두게 되는데요.

그러다보면 잘 사용하지 않는 물건도 한 번 넣어두고도 정리를 하지 않고 습관적으로 가방을 들고 다니며 길에서 힘을 빼게 됩니다.

이번 전시회에서는 본 상품과 같은 종류의 파우치가 많았지만, 필자의 주의를 끈 것은 상품의 카피라이트와 다양한 색상의 라인업 이였습니다.

‘오늘은 왠지 좋은 일이 생길 것 같은 날’

요즘 같이 하루 하루 즐거운 뉴스보다 안타깝거나 서로에게 위화감을 주는 뉴스들이 많고 …. 일이라는 요소는 늘 무거우며 하기 싫은 것이 되어 있다고 보는데요….

이런 날에도 좋은 일 생길 것 같다는 기대라도 있으면 부정적인 생각보다 긍정적 마인드를 통해서 하던 일이나 예견된 일이 더 잘 풀리지 않을까요?

다양하게 진열 된 상품들을 보며 필자는 용도에 적합하면서 적당한 내용물이 들어가고 두께도 두껍지 않으면서 충격에 강한 그런 제품을 찾고 있습니다.

기왕 돈 주고 사는 물건인 만큼 여러가지 따져봐야겠죠?

제일 먼저 고민하게 된 것은 바로 크기였습니다.
10인치의 태블릿과 약간의 서류와 들고 다녀도 무게감이 별로 없는 그런 제품…

wenziday의 라인업은 생각보다 다양하게 보였으며, 적당한 크기의 파우치를 찾는데는 그렇게 큰 어려움이 없었습니다.

 

​​

그 다음은 충격을 어느정도 흡수 또는 분산시켜 나의 노트북이나 태블릿PC 등을 보호해 줄것인가 하는 문제였는데요. 요즘 나오는 이런 종류의 파우치들은 ‘메모리폼’을 많이 사용하고 있습니다.

​​

그러나 wenziday의 파우치들은 흐느적 거리는 ‘메모리폼’ 대신 ‘토이론’ 이라는 재료를 사용하여 조금은 딱딱해 보이지만 파우치의 형태를 확실히 잡아주고 있었습니다.

토이론의 충격흡수에 대한 의문이 생겨 관계자에게 물어 보았을 때,
토이론은 일반적인 스폰지들 보다 탄성이 좋아 많이 쓰는 충격흡수제이고 느낌은 딱딱하게 느껴져도 파우치 안의 내용물을 보호하기에 충분하다는 설명이 있었습니다.

친절한 설명에 그런 내용을 신뢰하기로 하고 내부와 외부의 바느질 상태를 확인 했을 때,

사진에서와 처럼 꼼꼼한 바느질과 마무리가 가격대비(특히 행사할인가) 괜찮은 퀄리티라고 판단 되었습니다.

 

구입을 결정하던 마지막 순간….어깨끈이 있는 것이 좋지 않을까 생각하기도 했지만. 파우치라는 개념답게 손에 들고 다니는 것 만으로 만족하기로 했습니다. 오히려 어설픈 어깨끈은 더 번거럽거나 비실용적일 수 있으니까요.

필자는 해당 파우치에 태블릿PC(약 800g)과 필기도구, 약간의 서류, 보조배터리 정도를 넣어 며칠동안 이동하며 사용하여 봤습니다.

결론적으로 이동에 필요 최소한의 물건을 넣어 다니기엔 적당하며, 외관상 보이는 이미지 또한 적당한 세련미를 더해주고 있었습니다.

이동시 손잡이 부분을 많이 사용하게 되었는데요. 파우치와 내용물의 무게가 그렇게 많이 나가지 않은 만큼 손잡이를 잡고 이동하는 것이 어깨끈을 두르는 것 보다 훨씬 편하다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었습니다.

지금 며칠동안 가지고 다니는 내용물들을 최소화 하기에 이르렀는데요.

운전을 하기 위해 차를 타거나 지하철, 버스 등의 대중교통을 이용함에도 기존의 큰 부피의 백팩이나 서류가방에 비하여 차지하는 공간이 많지 않아 몸이 조금 더 자유로웠다고 할 수 있었습니다.

사용자의 입장에서 기능성도 중요하지만, 내 몸에 지니고 다니는 물건의 시각적인 디자인과 본인만 알 수 있을 것 같지만, 지나가며 보는 이들도 눈치 챌 수 있는 제품의 마감의 우수성은 몸에 지니고 다녀도 결코 싸지 않다는 결론에 이르게 되었습니다.

파우치라는 하나의 아이템으로 다양한 라인업과 높은 완성도를 바탕으로 경쟁력을 키워가는 기업으로 인식이 됩니다.
